Teleport

Veronica: So how do I get to A Need for Mead?

Frank: Oh! That’s easy.

Frank: Once you finish packing your bags I’ll just teleport you there.

Veronica: You can do that?

Frank: If I couldn’t manage a measly teleport I would disgrace The Society of Liches

Veronica: Well I’m ready when you are.

Frank: Is that really all you’re bringing?

Veronica: Damsels in Distress don’t exactly have the time to acquire a lot of material possessions.
Frank: Then I guess it’s time for me to Fairy Lichfather it up and get you the hell out of this tower.
Veronica: So now what? Do we have to stand in a circle or …

Veronica: …Or what?”

Veronica: Frank?”

Veronica: Guess I’m not in the tower anymore

Panel 1

Veronica and Frank stand in front of the balcony entrance. Frank is handing Veronica the piece of paper with her character sheet on it.

“So how do I get to A Need for Mead?” Veronica asks.

“Oh!” exclaims Frank. “That’s easy.”

Panel 2

Frank stands in front of a pink background, with magical looking sparkles behind him. His eyes are closed, with a happy grin on his face.

“Once you finish packing your bags I’ll just teleport you there,” says Frank.

Panel 3

Veronica and Frank stand in front of the entrance to the balcony.

“You can do that?” Veronica asks.

“If I couldn’t manage a measly teleport I would disgrace The Society of Liches,” says Frank.

Panel 4

Veronica and Frank stand in front of a light blue background. Veronica has her hands out to either side, with the character sheet in the hand closest to Frank. Frank is looking down at the character sheet, a concerned expression on his face.

“Well I’m ready when you are,” says Veronica.

“Is that really all you’re bringing?”

Panel 5

Veronica stands in front of the balcony. She seems slightly frustrated, and is rolling her eyes.

Damsels in Distress don’t exactly have the time to acquire a lot of material possessions,” Veronica explains.

Panel 6

Frank stands in front of the balcony entrance. His hands are out to the side, and a yellowish glow floats above his hands and above his head, sprinkled with sparkles.

“Then I guess it’s time for me to Fairy Lichfather it up and get you the hell out of this tower,” Frank says.

Panel 7

Close up on Veronica’s head. Only the dark blue sky beyond the balcony’s entrance is visible around her head. The yellow magical glow that began in the previous panel continue, although she doesn’t seem to notice. She is looking to the right and where Frank is off panel, an unimpressed look on her face.

“So now what?” Veronica asks. “Do we have to stand in a circle or . . .”

Panel 8

The following image is made up of 2 small panels with one larger panel.

First Small Panel:

Veronica stands with her eyes closed in front of a a glowing yellow light.

“…Or what?” she asks, continuing from the previous panel.

Second Small Panel:

Veronica stands in front of a black panel. Her eyes are wide and she seems visibly surprised by what is in front of her.

“Frank?” she asks.

There is no reply.

Large Panel:

Veronica faces away from the reader, gazing at a two story structure. It resembles a fantasy tavern/inn common to fantasy RPGs with a marron tiled roof, light beige walls, and wooden support beams. Most rooms are dark, beyond what appears to be the main room downstairs, that has yellow light emitting from the windows. A sign next to the door declares it to be “A Need for Mead” under an iconology of a tankard of beer over a crossed knife and spork.

It is night time, and stars can be seen twinkling above the tavern. Veronica is standing to the right, next to a large tree in front of the tavern.

“Guess I’m not in the tower anymore” Veronica says.
