Panel 1

Horbin is lying on his back in the grass. His eyes closed and his mouth open with his tongue hanging out. There are two bandaids on his cheeks, the result of some previously applied Medicine check. Above him, two individuals are talking off panel.

“Do you think he’s dead?” asks the first voice.

“Haling is lucky,” answers another. “Thog not so lucky.”

Panel 2

Xavros and Thog are standing in front of the foot of the lighthouse towe, near the abandoned and dark Keeper’s House. Xavros is looking over at Thog, an eyebrow raised, as if expecting clarification from Thog’s previous statement. Thog’s arms are crossed across his chest, and he is looking down, examining what is assumed to be the prone form of Horbin at their feet, off panel.

Panel 3

Thog is in front of a black background, outlined in white to help contrast him from the background. He is glaring upwards, his eyebrows narrowed, clearly disgruntled.

“Halfling will live,” Thog says. “Luckily.”

Panel 4

The shadowed outlines of Xavros and Thog can be seen at the foot of the lighthouse, with Horbin lying in front of them on the ground. Xavros is facing Thog, left hand on his hip, with his right hand holding his wizard’s staff. Thog faces Xavros, his arms crossed. Horbin remains unresponsive on the ground.

“Well there isn’t anything else we can do here,” says Xavros.

Panel 5

Xavros and Thog stand in front of the foot of the lighthouse. Xavros faces away from Thog, his arms out to his side, indicating to the area around them.

“And I don’t like the idea of making camp right next to an evil wizard’s lair,” Xavros continues. “I suggest we leave.

“Xavros’ words are wise,” says Thog.

Panel 6

Xavros is in front of a light blue background. He faces to the right, his eyes closed, a smug expression on his face.

“Of course my words are wise,” Xavros says.

Panel 7

Xavros and Thog stand in front of the foot of the lighthouse. Xavros is winking at Thog, giving him a handed finger gun (the other hand is holding his staff). Thog looks unimpressed, his arms crossed over his chest, as he blandly stares back at Xavros.

“I am the party leader, after all,” says Xavros.
