Veronica: I find it hard to believe no one has ever gotten angry at GM before.
Frank: Oh no, they definitely do. GM isn’t exactly a people person.
Veronica: So what hasn’t happened before?
Frank: Well no one has ever managed to actually quit.
GM stands in front of a yellow background, facing to the right where Veronica’s hand and part of her arm is visible. He grumpily hands her the paper seen in the previous comic.
“Take this,” GM says. “I expect you to be gone by the time I get back.”
Veronica and Frank stand in front of the entrance to the lighthouse’s balcony. They stare with surprise to the left, where a sound effect of a “SLAM!” can be seen, presumably from GM shutting some sort of door and leaving. Veronica holds the paper GM handed her.
Neither character says anything.
Veronica and Frank stand in front of an almost black background. Neither have seemed to move from the previous panel from shock, although Veronica is now looking at Frank.
“Well, that’s never happened before,” says Frank.
Veronica and Frank stand in front of the balcony entrance. Veronica is looking down at the paper as she begins to read the contents.
“I find it hard to believe no one has ever gotten angry at GM before,” she tells Frank.
Frank laughs. “Oh no, they definitely do,” he says. “GM isn’t exactly a people person.”
Veronica and Frank stand in front of a light blue background. One of Frank’s arms seems to be behind Veronica on her back, as he eyes the paper in front of her, surreptitiously reading it. Veronica doesn’t seem to be reading the paper, but is instead looking up at Frank.
“So what hasn’t happened before?” she asks.
“Well no one has ever managed to actually quit,” says Frank.
Veronica and Frank are in front of a pink background. Veronica is looking down at the piece of paper again, eyes narrowed, clearly annoyed. Frank meanwhile, finds something very amusing written on the paper, as he has a wide grin on his face as he points to something on the piece of paper.
“Ha!” he exclaims. “Says here you’re a hermit!”
