Transcript

Panel 1

Veronica stands in front of a light pink background. She is shrugging, as she looks off to the right, where Frank and GM are standing off panel.

“How would you solve a problem like the Rowdy Rogue?” she asks.

Panel 2

Veronica and GM stand in front of a yellow background. Veronica is facing towards the background and GM, with only half of the back of her head visible, her facial expressions totally obscured. In front of her, only half of his face is visible. He has a bored expression on his face.

“Obviously, I would have told him to stop,” says GM.

“Don’t you think I tried that?” asks Veronica.

Panel 3

Close up of Frank’s face in front of a blue background. His eyes are narrowed, with a slight sneer on his face.

“Wrong answer. Try again!” Frank says.

Panel 4

Veronica, Frank, and GM stand in front of the entrance to the balcony. Veronica is visibly frustrated by what GM is saying. Frank stands between the other two, hands clasped together, watching the exchange with interest.

“Extracted myself from the situation?” asks GM.

“How do you think I ended up on the balcony?” Veronica asks.

Panel 5

Close up of Frank standing in front of the balcony entrance. His eyes are closed, and both of his hands are in a “thumbs down” gesture to emphasize his point.

“Wrong again!” he says. “Maybe third time’s the charm?”

Panel 6

GM stands in front of a light blue background. His eyes are closed, and one finger is raised in an authoritative gesture.

“Well clearly I would . . .” begins GM before trailing off.

Panel 7

GM stands in front of an almost black panel. Both of his eyes are open, and his finger is still raised, but he seems perplexed, or as if he lost his train of thought. His eyes are narrowed, and he doesn’t finish his previous statement, as if he cannot come up with an answer.

Panel 8

Veronica, Frank, and GM stand in front of the entrance to the lighthouse’s balcony. Veronica stands away from the two men, further inside the room. She looks disappointed in GM’s direction, who seems to be still lost in thought, arms crossed.

“Yeah, that’s what I thought,” says Veronica.

“Veronica,” says Frank with concern, reaching a hand out towards her as if to offer comfort.

Panel 9

Veronica stands in front of a pink background, with GM facing her so only the back of his head is visible. Her eyes are wide, pupils narrowed, and brows furrowed.

“You know what? Screw this,” she yells. “I quit!”
