Doing a Favor

Panel 1

GM and Veronica stand face to face, GM towering a good half a head above Veronica, in front of a light blue background. Both characters are outlined in white to help contrast them from the background. GM is looking down a Veronica, a finger pointed at her face.

“You may have fooled the rogue and wizard with your act, but the barbarian saw you.” says GM.

“So?” asks Veronica, a defiant expression on her face.

Panel 2

Close up shot of Veronica’s face against the starless night sky. She is looking to the left, her eyes narrowed.

“Thog didn’t seem inclined to tell his party members what happened,” she says.

Veronica’s is standing against the starless night sky, visible from the chest up. She continues to look to her left, her face up in front of her in a groping gesture.

“And someone was bound to shove Mr Grabby Hands off a balcony,” Veronica continues.

Panel 4

Veronica’s is standing against the starless night sky, visible from the chest up. She faces to the left, her left hand clutched to her chest in a selfless gesture, her eyes closed.

“I did you a favor by teaching him a lesson,” Veronica finishes.

Panel 5

Only the back of Veronica’s head is visible as she faces GM, his left 2/3rds visible. The two are illuminated by the yellow of the interior of the lighthouse. GM glares at Veronica, unimpressed with her defense.

“Spoken like someone who has never had to deal with the fallout of an adventure that just went off the rails.”
